it would be most beneficial to seek developmental edits in your earlier drafts (example: drafts 1-3)developmental edits are most useful if you're struggling with issues like:

• or you're stuck on that one plot point
line edits
it would be most beneficial to seek line editing after developmental edits and before querying/publishing (example: drafts 4 and up)line edits are most useful if you're looking to:

• improve prose flow

• polish your manuscript before querying/publishing
how long do edits take?
turnaround is dependent on factors including editor's workload, types of edits, amount of work, and word count. please inquire for final deadlines; general estimates are below:
